Ellinika
Ellinika is another village we come to, on the main road Istiea-Chalkis and is 26 km far from Istiaia. It is built on a pine hill and is one of the oldest villages in northern Evia with gorgeous view over the Aegean Sea. Ellinika beach attracts the strong tourists’ interest, especially due to the Greek village of Agios Nikolaos. This is one of the most beautiful beaches of north-central Evia, which has fine white sand. Moreover, in the middle of the natural bay there is a small island where a church called Agios Nicholaos lies. You can reach that island and visit the church only by swimming up there, which is wonderful. This natural beauty is what makes the traveler coming again and again in northern Evia.
